KNITTING FOR NEWBORN BABIES

In 2008 one of the parents in the Te Horo community asked us to start providing pure wool knitting for premature babies, after she experienced difficulty in accessing these small garments, when she had an unexpected, early arrival.  

We now have a team of knitters who prepare hats, vests, jackets, booties and socks for new babies.

Providing knitting is optional for new Chapters of LOVED 4 LIFE™.  In many communities there are keen knitters who are delighted to have a worthwhile cause and to know that their woollen garments are a special gift and blessing to the parents.
